Why is a store required?
marmelada is built for Mercado Libre sellers. Every account is linked to at least one seller account; if the last active store is disconnected, the app is paused until you connect one again.
How the connection works
The connection uses Mercado Libre's official OAuth API. You approve access on Mercado Libre's own page. Only the main account of the store can connect. You can remove the connection here or in your Mercado Libre app settings.
Test accounts
Mercado Libre asks visitors from outside Latin America to log in. Create a test account in a marketplace and browse with it. Test accounts count toward this store's Mercado Libre quota of 10. They cannot be connected as a marmelada store.
Connect an active store to create a test account. The quota is taken from that store.
